Human Rights in Sports Declaration

Declaration on Sports and Human Rights

We’ve signed up because it aligns with our core purpose: using sport and culture to advance dignity, safety, and equal opportunity for everyone, especially newcomers, refugees, and ethnic minority communities. The Declaration strengthens our commitment to rights-based practice in participation, safeguarding, mental health, and transparent governance across all our programmes.

“MSCNI has signed the Declaration because human rights are the game plan, not the afterthought. When every child, parent and player can step onto the pitch with dignity, safety and a fair chance to belong, sport becomes more than competition, it becomes community.”

“At MSCNI, we believe sport has the power to transform lives, bridge divides, and build sanctuary. Upholding human rights in sport means ensuring every voice is heard, every talent is valued, and every person feels at home on and off the field.” Said: Jahswill Emmanuel BEM Founder/C.E.O Multi-Ethnic Sports and Cultures NI (MSCNI)
